Text Box: Golf Championship courses can be found in Altea, Javea, Alicante, Moraira, Oliva Nova (designed by Severiano Ballesteros) and Denia (Marriott La Sella Golf Resort & Spa), the latter currently extending its 18 holes by adding a further nine. La Sella is just about 10 minutes drive from Villa Almendra and is an excellent course, complemented by the newly opened 5* Marriott Spa Hotel. Generally prices are cheaper than in the UK so you can enjoy a few more rounds! During the summer it is ideal to tee off early in the morning so that you can enjoy an ice-cold beer and some wonderful Spanish tapas in the Clubhouse at lunch time.
